Help by sponsoring a future educator to attend the Prospective Teachers Academy at UCO. The Academy provides step-by-step assistance for prospective teachers who plan to enroll as teacher education majors at UCO. This includes workshops, faculty mentorship, guidance on becoming a certified teacher, information on college degree requirements, assistance with scholarship applications, and much more. Educators who attend this program are more likely to be successful and better able to determine if teaching is the right career for them. Your support will help us recruit more quality educators in our state!

Help recognize outstanding educators who mentor UCO teacher candidates. Funds benefit active educators positively impacting Oklahoma students and future teachers.
Suggested amount: $250
This fund provides emergency scholarships to Teacher Education majors who encounter severe unexpected financial burdens while pursuing their degree. It is an unrestricted fund administered by the Jolene Schwind Office of Teacher Education Services, which distributes assistance to students with the most significant financial need on a case-by-case basis, enabling them to concentrate on their education.
Suggested amount: $500
A $500 donation will cover the cost of certification exams for one teacher education major. Please help alleviate the financial burden for our Teacher Education majors, who have to pay out of pocket during their semester of student teaching to become certified teachers.
